To get a better experience, I tried out quite a lot of Miken softball gloves. Now, more time is passing, and Miken is creating gloves with different potential and upgrading themselves too.

Since the time is passing on, Miken is also creating different types of gloves that have different compatibilities and usage. I have seen three series of gloves, pro series, player series, and the super-soft series of Miken.

Now, these series of gloves have different sizes with different colors too. Here are some of the commonly known and favorite gloves of Miken-

This series of Miken’s bat has been designed with full-grain leather sheet. So, you will feel soft and comfortable at the time of catching ball. As the leather is high-quality, the weight of this glove is lightweight and the durability is longer.

You will not feel high impact of the ball catching as it has PORON XRD palm padding. This glove has been designed with H web which ensure the versatility and suitability in the field. It also has smaller gaps and deep pocket for perfect catch and hold onto the ball.

When I play softball, I always look for the best. In fact, before buying, I check the description, what features they are giving, etc. So far I gained knowledge about Miken, I think these gloves are worth a shot for you too.

There are a lot of features that amazed me when I went to buy them. The first Miken glove-buying experience was something!

I went to the regular store where I buy the majority of my softball accessories. That was I guess around 2012. I was looking for a decent glove for my upcoming tournament. So, I was in a bit of a rush too. Suddenly, Miken’s pro series caught my attention.

Not only was the color so eye-catchy, but also the features! Trust me, when I wore the glove, I thought this was made for me. That is when I fell in love with Miken. 

So, here are the features that I have found in the Miken softball gloves I wore-

• The pro series and the players series can be different sizes like 13, 14, and 15 inches.
• I have gotten three types of designs for Miken softball gloves. Each of the designs has its own uniqueness. You can get a deep pocket design, unique horseshoe design, or enlarged pocket design.
• The pad of the gloves is known as PORON XRD Palm pads that can reduce the impact of the ball and sting too.
• The quality of the glove is very soft leather. I did not get any pain or stiffness when I wore them.
• One of the most amazing features of these Miken softball gloves are, that players of any adult hand can wear these gloves easily. They are designed to be fitted properly.
• The available colors that I have seen so far are black, red, white, gray, Scarlett, navy, etc. You may get many more colors too. 
• I will recommend these gloves to use in all positions. They are really good and stable in my opinion.
• There are adjustable non-slip pull-back strips also in Miken softball gloves.

Price Range Of Miken Slowpitch Softball Gloves

The Miken has released quite a number of gloves till now. The price range can be a difficult matter when you go to buy and do not know. But here I am as an experienced player who can give you all the data about the price of these wonderful gloves.

As there are 3 different series and different sizes of gloves available in the market, the prices of them can differ too. 

• Pro Series Price Range: $120-$150
• Player Series Price Range: $115-$140
• Super Soft Series: $40-$80

Now, we have already learned about the three different series. Now, the price range was different because of the series and the sizes. The lower the sizes were, the lower the price.

Why Should I Buy Miken Slowpitch Softball Gloves?

Whenever we try to look for something, we try to look for the benefits and the disadvantages first. Yes, Miken has some pros and cons too. When I first tested them by myself, I felt they are really good as well as they need some work too.

Here are the pros and cons I have seen so far-

Pros

• The gloves look great! 
• They break in easily. The shape of the glove is very good. That is why the ball stays trapped inside the pocket of the glove smoothly. 
• When I bought it, it was already ready for the field.
• The line drive catches are very easy with these gloves. It does not even hurt my hands. I did not have to think I made a bad decision after buying and playing using these gloves. 
• Although I am not that fond of H-gloves, this one gives me a different vibe. It is a personal choice, you may also like H-glove webs too. The H-gloves can help you to look at the ball up in the sky properly even though there is a sun.
• The pocket is very big. Along with that, the leather is very high in quality.
• My catching radius got improved after I played with these gloves for a while. You will see there is some extra padding in the fingers. This helps my fingers glove as a cushion and not hurt them. But if you want to know how to stiffen up a baseball glove a bit, then there are different ways you can do it.

Cons

• In the beginning, I felt the thumb loop a bit too tight in my hand. But it felt good after 3-4 consecutive matches.
• When I was getting fond of the glove, I bought these gloves a lot. But sometimes later I found out the new stocks do not have straps to tighten the gloves up to my hands. 
• I found the headspace is not oversized. It made me feel a little snug about the matter.

3. How Do I Tighten Up The Inside Threads Of My Miken Softball Glove?

To tighten up the glove you have, there is a way. I have tried it once when my Miken softball gloves became a bit loosened up. So, what I did was I looked at the fingers of the gloves.

Now, at the finger part of the gloves, they are tightened up using some lays. To tighten up the gloves more, pull the lays on one side more and more. That is how they will get tightened up more.

4. Are Miken Softball Gloves Adjustable At The Wrist?

Yes, you can adjust Miken softball gloves at your wrist. There are adjustable non-slip pull backstraps at the lower end of the glove that helps to adjust your wrist size.

Hence, do not worry about adjusting. These gloves are really something when it comes to adjusting your hands.
