Miguel Cabrera, the Detroit Tigers legend, declares his retirement from baseball as a player.
He played his last game on 1st October 2023, and he is going to put down his baseball bat forever.
Detroit Tigers declares that this 40-year baseball batting legend will stay with the team. He will be a special assistant to the president of baseball operations of the Tigers.
The current president of operations, Scott Harris, outburst on the declaration of Cabrera’s assistantship. He cited that he wants the Detroit Tigers’ players to get the lessons of how to handle praise and pressure at a time from Cabrera.
Cabrera played his last match on October 1, 2023, against the Cleveland Guardians. He touched his score in the last match with 3 at bat (AB), and 1 base on balls (BB). Tigers won the match at a 5-2. Tigers won the match with a 5-2.

Miguel Cabrera played for only two teams in MLB. His career-starting team was the Florida Marlins, and the final team was the Detroit Tigers, where he became a legend.
Career in Florida Marlins (2003-2007)
Miguel Cabrera has put his steps in MLB for the last 21 seasons. Cabrera first ever appeared in an MLB match for Florida Marlins on June 20, 2003.
Before that, he was signed as an amateur free agent in the Minor League by the Marlins in 1999.
By the way, Cabrera made his debut at 20 years old for Florida Marlin in MLB. He hit a home run in that game against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.
