Sometimes the mud stains can dry out and become almost impossible to clean. You can also find dirt in uniforms that can not be washed off during the normal wash cycle.
But let’s face it, getting the sparkly look on your white pair of baseball pants needs a lot more than just a quick rinse. Here are 8 ways how to clean your white baseball pants:
Oxy Clean & Iron Out Wash
When you are living with a baseball player, getting occupied for a long time and rubbing the tough stains is not something you can afford to do three times every week. So the oxy clean and iron out wash helps you get rid of the dirt without any muss or fuss.
Here are the steps to achieve dazzling white baseball pants:
Step 1
Lay down your baseball pants on a flat surface, and with a spray bottle, spray the required amount of Oxy Clean on both sides, concentrating on the dirt.
Note: Try to get Oxy Clean Max Force for the best results.
Step 2
Leave the oxy clean spray on the pants for about an hour, then soak the pants for at least an hour in the Iron Out mixture.
To make the Iron Out mix, you will need a bucket and pour in half a cup of Iron Out (for one pant) in it. Fill the bucket with hot water, then gently put your pants into the mix. You can leave your pants on it for one hour overnight, depending on the number of stains in it.
Step 3
Drain your pants from the Iron Out mix and put them in your washing machine. Use an adequate amount of your regular laundry detergent along with half a scoop of Oxy Wash White Revive.
Wash your pants in the hottest water settings in your machine, and your pants should come out as good as new. You can also hand wash the pants following the same methods.
Hydrogen Peroxide & Fels-Naptha Wash
This cleaning mixture is a potent solution for cleaning up excess dirt. However, you have to do some work to get rid of those stubborn stains. To get started with this procedure, you will need:
- A dry sponge
- Tinted spray bottle
- Hydrogen Peroxide
- Fels-Naptha Soap
- Cold water and
- Baking Soda.
Step 1
Clean your pants under running tap water. Make sure to use cold water settings. You can soak the pants for an hour to soften any difficult stain.
Step 2
Mix one part of baking soda with two parts of cold water with one part of Hydrogen Peroxide. Put this mixture in your tinted spray bottle and spray this directly onto the stains. This mixture works great even as a rust stain remover.
Step 3
Let the hydrogen mixture sit in your pants for about ten to fifteen minutes, then glide your Fels-Naptha soap in your entire pants back and front.

Take your sponge and scrub the stains out of the pants. Don’t worry; you don’t have to be very aggressive while scrubbing. You need a little arm exercise, and the rest will be taken care of by the soap.
After you are done with the scrubbing, you should see a visible result. If not, concentrate and put a little more elbow grease to scrub off the stubborn stains. After you are satisfied with the result, it is time for the fourth and last steps.
Step 4
Rinse off all the previous cleaning compounds and throw your white baseball pants into the washing machine. Now you can either use hot or cold water settings according to your preference.
Note: Pouring hot water into the fresh stains will allow the fabric to absorb the stains immediately. Use cold water for initial soaking, then warm water for the final wash.
3. Liquid Dish Soap Wash
As surprising as it may sound, dish soap is not only great for removing grease stains from your dishes, but it can also help you to get your baseball pants clean. Want to know two ways how to clean white baseball pants using liquid dish soap? Follow these steps to know how:
Step 1
Pour an adequate amount of dish soap liquid onto the bucket and mix it with a couple of cups of water, then soak your dirty baseball pants for one to three hours.
Step 2
Take your pants out of the water mixture and rub the pants, especially the stained areas, properly. Do not pour a gallon of water into the mixture as it will dilute the dish soap more than it is required, and it will lose its potency.
